Chinese celery, or leaf celery, is a smaller version of the Western celery we are familiar with. However, do not let their small size and pencil-thin stalks deceive you, for they have much stronger flavors! These bright green 1-1.5 inch seedlings have a distinct celery aroma and taste, and work well in stir-fries or as garnishes.
Chinese celery seedlings are much easier to grow than the common celery. However, this variant is slow growing, with the microgreens requiring around 30 days to harvest. They can also be grown into the adult plant, which can take up to 90 days.
Do make sure to soak the seeds before sowing.
